I mean I know its possible to have successful conversations but no one shares the same interests as me.. So its almost as if unless I find something to be interesting or funny then I wont be able to talk about it :s Its obviously a generic aspie trait but still Im frustrated with it at the moment, so I just felt like bringing it up. Im just wondering what you guys like to talk about in particular, out of curiosity.
The top five interests that I can go on and on about is:

**Beherit and other related/corresponding cosmic/spiritual entities/beings (the band as well they rule! \m/)
Black metal and other extreme genres of music (but bm mostly)
Vincet Price (the man is the most ingenious actor in history!)
Certain tv shows, like Stargate SG1 for example
Personal life experiences and pleasures of the flesh

I know, its nothing useful in the nt world, and not many people want to hear anything about it, but its what makes me, me. 8)

I can talk about pro boxing/kickboxing and training for hours. I also like talking about god and philosophy of spirituality. Most people don't care about any of this, but I have a couple friends I can talk to about this stuff.

When it comes to christianity you have to really get in there and tell me to shut the hell up when I'm ranting on and on about how full of s**t it all is.
Same goes for emos and scenesters, I can't shut up about how much I hate them and why.
Same goes for emo and scene bands, I can go on for weeks about why they suck.
But when it comes to metal bands, I can talk about them forever, and Norse gods and vikings too.
Also if somehow I start on my own stories, they never end so I can just keep going unless somebody tells me to stop.
All these things I can rant on about whether or not who I am talking to gives a damn.

Cats!

Luckily, I go to a site where I can talk about cats without them thinking I'm weird. In fact, I've made a lot of friends through my love of cats.

Hey, I could also! I ALSO like Stargate SG1, all the way from the first movie to the latest stargate atlantis. I used to remember detail SO well though, and now it is more general.

Like the guy that made robot copies of SG1... I don't recall his name. I don't even recall the name of the guy that put that device in each members head that kept a record of what they did, etc...

But, obviously, I remember all of the concepts, etc... Like when daniel was captured by the creature on that water planet and everyone else was brainwashed into thinking he burned in a fire. Daniel ended up volunteering, reluctantly, to a process to get thoughts about "amaroka's"(sp?) fate.

It turns out that she died but that SHE was the one that caused the egyptian gate to be sealed up. They never did explain what happened to the other 3 gates! I don't know about the russian gate, but the other two weren't REALLY ever burried. What's up with that?

You mean Harlan? :) That guy was such a kook :P And I dont think the water creature had a name, he was just some alien dude who was obsessed with Sumarian theology and his lover Omoraka. The gate in Egypt was actually sealed back in ancient times to keep the Goa'uld from invading but it was eventually unsealed again.

-Mathematics, esp geometry, fractals, chaos theory, logic, MCEscher

-Teaching, teaching math, esp helping people with learning differences; the deplorable state of education in this country, etc

-medieval, renaissance & colonial history

-How AS is related or conected to other "atypical" human traits; ranting about how people want to "cure" us or put us on drugs to "fix" us.

BTW@, 9catmom, have you checked out " http://www.stuffonmycat.com "? it's hiarious

My imaginary world. It's not very exciting, but I still love to talk about it.

OH YEAH, HARLAN, THAT'S the guy! And YEAH, the egyptian one was sealed, but the atlantian one, and the other one, in antartica(?) WEREN'T! Apparently neither was the russian gate. AT one point, the antartic gate was in area 51, and it wasn't the russian one as their gate was sent to the US only after te'alc(sp?) was locked up in the gate system.

This is interesting because the russian gate always upset the US one, which is how they found out about it, and the antartic one intercepted jack and samantha when the wormhole broke from the US gate, which is how they found out about IT.

Naw, I wasn't really asking a question. I was just lamenting how everything came SO easy, etc... and now it doesn't. My memory started showing its age like 10 years ago, and things became harder, because of logistics, etc..., about 9 years ago. In in my 40s. 8-(
