Just thinking aloud, I often do!

Its just one of those days when I feel like an outsider looking in...

So have I been wrong all my life thinking I was like the neuro-typicals, so if I'm wired differently how much do I really have in common with all those (NTs) out there, compared to whom I'd been so wrongly misjudged, made to feel inadequate by so many times?

Do AS people have “special powers” , memory skills, extraordinary 3d simulating skills, mathematical abilities, superior language skills and many others.......

Do we have a special trait, is it all to do with evolution – we have to evolve and change in order to survive, and most autistic people I know seem to have more complex brains, and maybe even superior minds!

Do you ever feel like no one understands you

I don't do the whole superiority vs. inferiority battle. It just seems like the same old thing over and over. It's boring. It also prompts people to do stupid things like selectively weeding out (killing) other people who fit the criteria for what they believe to be inferior.

On the flipside, I think it's obvious that some people that are teased alot think about superiority in defense of being belittled because technically there are things you are good at and there are things they are good at.

Does that make you better overall? No. Does it make them better overall? No. Even if it did, it gives nobody the right to push others around. If it's self defense fine, fight back. Just know there are consequences unfortunately and the justice system isn't always fair.

Your right of course, it always comes down to good old common sense...

But when feeling like the outsider, its good sometimes to be positive, think positive and act positive and unfortunately can be at the expense of others, but no offend or harm meant.

What I always say is "what goes around, comes around"

I try always not to prejudge, as I know us aspies can be a little direct at times - just the way we are....
