My daughter has brought the talent of Imogen Heap to my attention. After watching her rehearsal of Just For Now on You Tube, I began to research her a little bit.

-- went to a boarding school
-- was disliked by the other girls
-- clashed with the music teacher there
-- as punishment, he left her alone to study
-- she spent much of her time alone, teaching herself things like music engineering, sampling, and production
-- known as a loner
-- technically brilliant in music

These aspects of her life aren't necessarily all aspie-like, but there are some tendencies, especially the amazing musical/technical ability -- she's not just an incredible musical talent, but she has all of these engineering capabilities that add to the music in wonderful ways.

To be able to do the techniques that she uses, she has to be very focused and have a keen ear.

I'm just amazed by this girl.
