Thats really bad luck. Who would of thought that wasps would use yellow jackets as a nest?

I hope you busted a good many caps on those Yellow Jackets. Next time they step in your turf, they'll know you aren't playing!

I had to move it over the garden to get to the backyard.

That sucks. I've never been stung by a bee/yellowjacket/wasp. *knocks on wood*

I've been stung by a bee three times. The first is the worst. Bees are a very minor problem compared to black widow spiders and rattlesnakes, which luckly, I have never been bit by. I almost got bit by a black widow a week ago. Those things are everywhere here. :x

What are Yellowjackets? Are they the same thing as those verminous creatures called Wasps?

For what it is worth, I think Wasps are vermin. I hate them. What purpose do they serve?

I believe they're considered a separate species. If I had to guess Id think they're closer to the wasp family than the bee family

The site I read says that they do help balance the ecosystem by killin certain types more pesky insects. As if I really cared right now. :P
