I mean relationships with people you can call for help and who call you when they need help too.

What should I vote for when I have two such people? I'm not sure whether I have two or three though and so I'll need some time to think about this.

I would say my mom is one of those people. I also have some friends of the family who fit that description.

My boyfriend - The most open minded NT person I know.
My plutonic girlfriend - who also has AS.
My brother - PDD-NOS
My mother - because she's my mother.

I also have a daughter, but thats a different sort of relationship.

Everyone else is peripheral.

She's the queen of la-la land, in the northern hemisphere. :D

My friend A: I can call her if I'm really down, or if I need someone I trust to watch my kids for an hour while I run an errand (rare). She's good for offering a dose of straight up reality too, which is good.

My friend B: I can count on him to be my "cheerleader", a voice of reason, no matter what I'm going through.

My friend R: Been friends for over a decade and I know if I ever got in a pinch somehow he would help.

My grandma: She's been the center of family for me forever.

I have a few e-mail friends too, people who live far away but are there for me and have been for a number of years. It's nice when I need a friend without wanting to talk, I can count on these three.

Everyone else is pretty much a waste. Of course, I'm in a sh*tty mood today too.

I can't bring myself to vote because I feel I have more than one, but 3-5 is way too many. I'd say 1 1/2 or 2. The half because I'm not fully close with anyone like I am with my fiance.

Both my parents - they're my parents of course I trust them.

my old sped school friend - We've been through a lot in that school and as a result have a strong if not sometimes hectic friendship. We both called each other for when we were getting sick of our family's troubles at various points in time.

Music - although inanimate I often go for my CD player to escape when I need to.
some could ague music is not an inanimate relationship due to the sometimes connective nature of it.

What's this help thing? Is that related somewhere to that trust thing? My experiences in asking people for help have more to do with that disappointment thing.

They're willing to help.

Up to a point.

After that, it's me.

So I don't ask anymore. And I figured out ways to deal on my own.

Dozens upon dozens. But I can't remember the last time I ever called anyone for help. It's almost always them that come to me, which can be annoying at times, but my closest friends find me accomodating.

No humans, but I do have friends.
