I seem to. The only things that seems to reduce it are doing advanced math, playing on my computer, and surfing the net, but even those things seem depressing. How do you cope?

Meditation. Music. Throwing myself into my interests. All these things help me.
I kinda wish I could do advanced math, but I'm more artistic.

I do as well. Its very seldom that I'm not bored, even when I'm actually doing something, oddly enough. Its like my brain works faster than my hands or my legs, so I'm already finished a thought or activity in my mind but still have to finish it with my limbs.

Things that help... hmm. Twitching, shuffling, or twisting my limbs into odd potitions. Reading, sometimes, if I have ten books on the go at once -- switching from one to the other every so often. Drawing usually quells it immediately. Also, since I'm a writer, roleplaying storylines/plots and dialogue in my head; this usually only works at night when I can't sleep and need to tire myself out. There are a lot of things I love to do but grow bored so quickly... its sort of upsetting! [laughs] Knitting, for instance, and dancing or listening to music.

Benny & Joon helps me past time. Work gives me something too but I wished I didn't have to go because I want to stay home and play Super Mario Galaxy. I had to quit for now because it's time to head for work in a few minutes.

I'm rarely bored. It's a challenge, though, to find new things to explore, to research that interest me. Up to now I've always found them. I also go into my fantasy world when I'm bored. I always say the day I don't have these stimuli is the day my life will not be worth living.

I wish. My boredom is more like anhedonia. Without enough mental stimulation I feel like my soul is dying. I feel like I need to have an intense focus / obsession or I feel so empty inside. I can't imagine being a shallow person who just goes through there daily routine without ever thinking about much of anything. I think about everything and then when I become bored of thinking I get depressed.

I do not experience boredom; there is always too much going on in my mind, even if nothing happens to be happening externally; I exist only partly in this world; my other worlds are much more interesting, and constantly so.

Good fortune,

I'm rarely out of boredom. When I find new interests, I become interested in them for a while, but quickly get bored of them, and have no motivation to pursue these interests any further. Sometimes I feel so empty when I'm bored.

Ah, me too. I NEED to be focused on something or I'll start to feel down/blues.

I think I don't need to explain that I don't like vacations :S

I'm bored out of my wits, but don't really feel like doing anything...not even type much. :|

I am just coming out of what were essentially two years of absolute mind numbing boredom. I got to college and had no idea what I wanted to do with my life, and I lost my passionate interest from high school (cross country and track). School was not nearly as challenging or exciting as I had expected it to be, so I found myself with nowhere to put my wild mental energy. I ended up putting it into intense introspection, fear, and drug abuse, basically. Thank God I have for the most part come out of that phase as I have learned the importance (at least for me) of solid friendships and productivity. If it weren't for my writing and my music, I don't know what I would do. My mind would just have too much stuff to deal with, and I think I would implode.

A lot of people on this board don't understand that NTs are happy without thinking about much of anything. Their brains are wired completely differently. They don't need that mental stimulation we do.

I get bored of everything easily. I have no hobbies. My days are basically, eat, sleep, and surf the internet. No friends either. I am on federal disability due to AS, OCD, depression.
