Wolves at my door, fleece by my feet. the
strangers that came stab at thee.

Blood drips upon this torn soldier and his ground.
and the wolves choose him not, for he is not one
of them, and would not be considered even if he were
and were around.

Trickles of blood fill shoe to my head. as my
spirit rages in the lost soul that it contains. the stan
is wounded and the spirit expresses it's rage.

bEgone the wolves of night that harbour your daggers
in fleece jackets. for consumed by silence that worst
punishment indeed, begon the wolves of night aspers
they think and see.

Silence the fools and make them pounder and plead
for word, the wounded soul will not let the other take
no more

Ghosthunter, your poem of wolves reminded me to pick up a long lost friend…a book entitled, Women Who Run with the Wolves.

Here are some links if anyone’s interested to read a few excerps (or perhaps re-familiarize yourself with this book).

This is a very good book for women and also for men who wish to understand more about women.

Here are a few quotes from Women Who Run with the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes
"Being able to say that one is a survivor is an accomplishment. For many, the power is in the name itself. And yet comes a time in the individuation process when the threat or trauma is significantly past. Then is the time to go to the next stage after survivorship, to healing and thriving. ... One can take so much pride in being a survivor that it becomes a hazard to further creative development. ... Once the threat is past, there is a potential trap in calling ourselves by names taken on during the most terrible time of our lives. It creates a mind-set that is potentially limiting. It is not good to base the soul identity solely on the feats and losses and victories of the bad times." (pp.210, 211)

"Do not cringe and make yourself small if you are called the black sheep, the maverick, the lone wolf. Those with slow seeing say a nonconformist is a blight on society. But it has been proven over the centuries, that being different means standing at the edge, means one is practically guaranteed to make an original contribution, a useful and stunning contribution to her culture." (p.212)

Thanks for the reminder :)

This reminds me of a song by Radiohead called "A Wolf at the Door. (It Girl. Rag Doll.)" from their album Hail to the Thief (The Gloaming).

Radiohead wrote:
Drag him out the window
Dragging out your dead
Singing I miss you
Snakes and ladders flip the lid
Out pops the cracker
Smacks you in the head
Knifes you in the neck
Kicks you in the teeth
Steel toe caps
Takes all your credit cards
Step up get the gunge
Get the eggs
Get the flan in the face
The flan in the face
The flan in the face
Dance you f****r dance you f****r
Don't you dare
Don't you dare
Don't you flan in the face
Take it with the love its given
Take it with a pinch of salt
Take it to the taxman
Let me back
Let me back
I promise to be good
Don't look in the mirror at the face you don't recognize
Help me, call the doctor, put me inside
put me inside
put me inside
put me inside
put me inside
put me inside

I keep the wolf from the door
But he calls me up
Calls me on the phone
Tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up
Steal all my children if I don't pay the ransom
And I'll never see them again if I squeal to the cops. . . .

Walking like a giant cranes
And with my X-ray eyes I strip you naked
in a tight little world
and are you on the list?
Stepford wives who are we to complain?
Investments and dealers
Investments and dealers
Cold wives and mistresses
Cold wives and Sunday papers city
Boys in First Class don't know we're born little
Someone else is gonna come and clean it up
Born and raised for the job
Someone always does
I wish you'd get up get over
get up get over and turn this tape off

I keep the wolf from the door
But he calls me up
Calls me on the phone
Tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up
Steal all my children if I don't pay the ransom
And I'll never see them again if I squeal to the cops

So I'm just gonna. . . .

I love things with wolves, dark woods and cottages out in the wild with them.

Thanks for this thought, I never heard of the
song before. I do like most radiohead I have seen
on MTV or heard on Radio. Creep! was the cool one,
and so was the animated video from the 90's.

I am glad to be here, just don't censor my thought process
that is all I ask of anyone. I really didn't want to bring it
up, but that is one of my points of annoyance. [/quote]

I am hoping you are doing well! And thanks for not shunning
me for my characteristics and expressions.

Besides WrongPlanet, I don't have much of a family either.
We are all in the same boat.

Your better than me at it Irish Gaelic. I dont have a clue what you wrote. I was brought up in Scotland where English is the predominate language (some areas in the highlands and islands and islands continue to speak gaelic but nearly all speak english too) with some Scots words and regional pronunciations thrown into the mix. Most people would probably struggle to understand anything im saying if i posted here the same as people speak in Glasgow. Oh and my name also means "wealthy protector". I wish.

Blogs are like blank books to me. I might as well be talking to
myself, and never be heard nor healed of thoughts that are bad.

for the record I destroy pages in journals and thus never will
that thought be heard of again, thus say nothing and be sad all
the time.

Blogs and journals don't give me a emotionally healthy diet.

What works is "HI I AM NAKED ON YOUR SCREEN" AND
by the way.... including the naked thought as it was meant
to be said. and a audience that might grasp or be entertained
by it. A Blog is a blank book that can be only seen and
thus I waste my time writing my thoughts as they are and
nothing new can penetrate and I get lonliler and might as
well be talking to myself, and on SSI.

I seem negative, and do thank you for that blog suggestion,
but I do know what feeds my agression, and thatis a recipe
for disaster.

Thanks for posting here,

Most sincerely,
Ghosthunter
