Describe what a perfect day would be like for you in terms of sensory aspects, interpersonal relationships, physical objects around you . . . whatever. I'm curious to see the different answers.

Perfect repeatable day, that is the type of day would like to have most of the time, or the perfect day of a lifetime, unrepeatable?

Perfect repeatable day: prob pref by the sea, one with tides,( not the mediterranean), and lots of stones and shells, on my own. Pref a pretty unfrequented beach/coastline, and rocky, eg: NW France or Cornwall. Warm enough, and sunny and dry, to stay out all day.

Perfect day of a lifetime: scientists discover that the neolithic revolution was indeed the result of human consumption of the new plant species which arose in the middle east at the end of the last ice age, around 13,000BC, called wheat, containing gluten which is a food opioid. That in the resultant altered state of consciousness humans domesticated animals and began to eat dairy, containing the food opioid casein, and invented agriculture, religion, and rectangular houses, amongst many other things,( pottery etc).

Perfect days in past have involved people, alcohol and spliffs. And lots of talking. Doesn't work anymore.
Perfect day as child, pre-alcohol etc! , was reading all day. And marzipan for tea.

8)

A stress-free day.

Does it exist?

My perfect day would include going out to a late breakfast with family or friends, then taking a walk alone in the forest or at the beach, listening to music and thinking. Then maybe I'd go to the movies with family/friends, or walk around downtown and stop in some shops, as long as it's not too crowded and noisy! I'd have to stop in Starbucks for a green tea latte, too, lol.

Then I'd drive home, and after dinner and a TV show or a book or something, I'd spend the night writing by the fire (or the Christmas tree, which is what I've been doing lately).

That would be nice. Friends, nature, music, and writing are the things that make me happy. :)

A perfect day would translate into waking up in paradise. Just not having to inhale earth air. Inhaling eternal air. Being resurrected from the dead without having one foot in this place and one foot in the another. I would be alive fully and not pretending. I would be privvy to Truth and not BS. I would be among people who craved beauty as much as I. I wouldn't have to defend myself left and right - there would be no struggle. All of my animals and trees would be left unmolested. I would be at peace. That day would last for 1 trillion years.

A perfect day for me?

I'm in college.

No classes, and finding out that at least three people need a work shift covered for the IT department, and each shift is three hours. so spending a total of nine hours at the desk with fellow colleagues and chatting and socializing, with an hour off for lunch.

That's the perfect day.

Did I sound like a nerd?

I hope not.

I'm a writing lit major.

My perfect day: (I dream of having it)

No fighting and hypocratic behavior from someone online. No reading of someone being rude to someone else and patting their own ego for it. Just a nice brouse and reply through the forums. A little reading of the blogs. My neighbor not slamming or tapping against the wall for once, so then I wouldn't forget everything I read or written. (oh that would be so wanderful. sigh.)

A four hour game play, or a long brouse through web sights of my interests. Trip to a store with food in it, and alowing my nose to smell everything the store had to offer. No random person stareing at me, bumping into me, saying "hi' for no reason, ect. so that I can endulge in the true bliss of the wanderful smells and take time to figure out what each scent is.

I would slowly drink a frozen coffie in 75 degrees with a slight breeze, while walking down the street. No one honking their car horn. Just people driving along, minding their business. No litter all over the streets, and certainly not bottles being hurled out of cars at someone else. (I hate that, it's so mean to do so. Not to mention illegal. And, the trash I'm so sick of.)

I arrive home, where I take a nice hot soaking bath, with bath salt, a candle, and mildly scented soaps that resembles the smell of medicine. I wouldn't feel the same guilt during the day, or any emotions getting to me, so the hammer sits nice and still without a moments thought. Music playing from the radio CD player, without other neighbors taking showers, flushing the toilet, screaming kids, boom sterios from cars, ect. Just nice silence with my desired music, so my mind can relax and think colorful ideas. Meanwhile I also focus on how the hot water feels, and how the heat sinks in and numbes me.

Golly, that reminds me how lucky i am here ( little village in hills) despite greater cold and less sun, there are few cars, almost no sounds from anywhere. I can hear the washing machine in the cellar when i'm upstairs it's so quiet.
And that it's one of the reasons why we left the last address because of constant noise from neighbours and constant noise from traffic, and sirens , and music loud in the street, and bins and phone boxes vandalised twice a week on average ( burnt or smashed), and tv from upstairs flat, etc. It was hell. How did noise pollution get to be so "normal"?! ! :x

:?

Seems like you moved to a better place from a rough one. I'm in a big city apartment, so there is always noise. :) I do admit that I sometimes miss the quiet from the country side.
