I do have uncommon sense.

I lack common sense in social situations. Most NTs I've met lack common sense when it comes to basic logic.

I used to lack common sence or "street smarts" as a kid, tho I got better, I dont think I have as much still as others my age, but their are traid offs always...

Everyone else says I have no common sense when I'm being myself so I ignore them.

I would say I lack common sense. For instance, I am very good when it comes to pretty much any academic discipline or mastering any particular skill, but when confronted with new situations, especially physical tasks, I am usually most incompetent. Example - my cousin and I were setting up a tent at a music festival, and I had no clue what to do, and he goes, "Geez man, what are you doing? You're just staring at the thing! Let's go!" And I was like dude I don't know what I'm doing! haha. I kind of freeze up when it comes to practical matters. Oh well. Can't be good at everything, and I'd much rather be good at math than practical stuff.

Yes, quite often I find myself unable to grasp the logic behind the grown-up's world. Very strange.

I agree with this statement.

I think that in social situations I don't have as much common sense as others as far as what to do/ say how to act etc etc...but this is AS.
I have come across many NT's who don't understand the basics of logic.

For example,
At a school camp years ago my teacher was heating up the BBQ. He wanted to know if it was hot enough to put the food on it...so he touched it! Now, you must be pretty stupid to touch a BBQ after it has been turned on! To make a long story short, he ended up with a third degree burn on his hand and was taken to hospital that day for treatment. Now THAT is what I call lacking common sense.
