Wikipedia has got to be aspie heaven. I have read articles on there almost every day this summer. I've also contributed a few articles and contributed to a few articles. I created the article Autistic spectrum, for example, and have contributed to Antisocial personality disorder. I also corrected the phonemic transcription of the word ennui in the article Boredom.

Well, their articles on Asperger's Syndrome and Autism have been featured before...I concur with that.

I just wish I had anything useful to contribute there myself.

Wikipedia is like a drug to me... I can just go on there and start looking up anything and never stop. I seriously get addicted to looking up information. Its great that many articles get really in depth too.

I am not prone to contribute, but I did write some things on a TMBG related wiki... but not too much.

Funny you should bring this up. I specifically found WP through wikipedia, by reading about michelengo (I love the chapel celing stuff) and then reading the link about his "supposed" AS, then the WP link on the AS page.

I, to, do the same thing with wikipedia. when WP is down, that is what I do. . . . . . .ahh. free information!

I haven't contributed to any AS-related articles, but I have become addicted to editing/contributing to articles on Wikipedia. It's also quickly becoming my #1 online information source.

WikiPedia, Google, Howstuffworks. Firefox, Gtalk, Gmail.
Encarta, MSN Search, IE, MSN Messenger, Hotmail, Windows.

Anyone else notice there are only 2 items on those lists that don't match?

Wikipedia got me here, when I looked at the links. But since then the Reference links have changed.

Wikipedia is like a quick way to build up a human encyclopedia in yourself, especially those with a high rote memory (like me and many other ASDs)
It is also a good way to get interested in new things by surfing the page by page by page.

Yep, I have UrbanDictionary on my search bar. I even made up a few

look up

panzon, gordo, mijo, butt huggers.

As for wikipedia I have an English and Spanish Language search on my browser.
