I'm done with video games and I don't like sports. The internet sometimes feels too small. I don't have friends.

Can someone suggest ways for me to pass time?

It is really hard to suggest something if we don't know what you like. Do you like to read? Do you like movies? Do you have a favorite subject? Perhaps you can give us a little more info about yourself.

I don't know...try to cure cancer, end world hunger, or stop global warming. Those things might be a good start.

You might want to try something smaller first. Consider ways that you might contribute to the welfare of your community. You could volunteer at the Library or the Homeless Animal Shelter. Animals at the Shelter need someone to pet them and play with them and just show them some attention and affection.

Look around you...as there is always someone or something in need and then, attempt to fill that need.

Did you know that wanting to be a volunteer is not sufficient to be allowed to be a volunteer? I've tried to volunteer at places where they welcome volunteers, and my offers were turned down.

Anyway, I'm not interested in being a volunteer at a library or animal shelter.

That is crazy, unless you are a pedophile.
What did you like as a child? That should provide a clue for you.
I got back into astronomy, a childhood interest that I had all but forgotten about.

I didn't do well at the phone prescreening interviews. Either I sounded too stupid or I gave them answers they did not want to hear. Probably both.

As a child I did not like anything in particular.

I try to do that type of thing via email- I think I present as a complete moron on the phone also, and email makes a much better first impression for me- my written communication is far more polished. The phone is even worse for me than talking in person - at least in person, you can put a smile on your face. Maybe you could suggest a non-phone approach next time, if you choose to attempt again.
Right now I am a volunteer ESL tutor. I made a thread about ithere.

Another question- do you have ADD or ADHD?

I suck at music. I don't like tutoring.

I don't know, but sometimes when I am doing something I don't like doing I present attentional problems which I think are consistent with those of a person who has ADD.

I am really into the arts. Consider music, writing, or the visual arts.

Science is also a possibility, or history.

This is like a zen koan.
It is an unsolvable riddle.
You are making us all look deeper into ourselves.
Perhaps you should become a Buddhist monk.
