.. For four hours now. It isn't bothering me.. I mean I am hardly even noticing it. It's just constant.. and I like it. I go through this when I really fully enjoy a song. I could listen to this all day.

Anyone else get that? I do the same with really good albums too.

My parents use to yell at me all the time because I wrecked records and then cassettes listening to the same thing over and over again.

Now with computers thats much easier. I take a song into nero I want to listen to, highlight what I want and hit the loop button.

yeah.. I am embarrassed to admit the same thing. Something is very wrong with us. It is not something a neurotypical person would do.

I know exactly what you mean. Typically my itunes and ipod are set on "repeat one"

When studying for my finals I played the same song for about one week straight. Not continually 24/7, of course, but I didn't listen to anything else.

Currently my ipod is on a 5-song playlist, that's fairly long for me.

Yeah, I do the same thing. I've been known to spend entire half-hour train trips listening to the same 10 seconds of a song over and over.

When I was driving my family home from a trip last year, a song I liked came on Sirius and I repeated the song for about two hours of the trip.

My sister got very angry at me for doing that.

I do that all the dang time, and when I'm around my mother, it drives her nuts. I know this, because she tells me . . . frequently.

Yep I do the same thing, to the annoyance of anyone else around me. Today I've had my ipod on repeat one also.

Do NT's do this? Or is it one of those obsessional things we aspies tend to crave?

It's an autistic thing; parts of objects and all. It's the same as sitting and watching the same TV show/movie over and over again. It's the same as spinning a single wheel on a toy car over and over and neglecting the rest.

I do what Who_Am_I does quite often.

Speaking of repeating things, when I was in the second grade, I watched The Little Mermaid either every day for the entire year, or almost every day.

And I'm probably the only person in the world who upon finishing Stephen King's thousand+ paged, "It," decided to read it all over again.

I do the same thing with books, movies and tv shows. If I like a thing, I can read/watch it over and over again.

Yes, and I link it to my growing fondness for minimalist music.
