Ok in the simpsons movie when somethings about to happen to the town he says I've spent my whole life collecting comic books, life well spent. Anyone else feel this way about their obsession in that if they only had their obsession to deal with they would be the happiest person alive.

I used to be that way with World of warcraft. I would find myself playing that game 18 hours straight sometimes it was crazy but I was happy.

I had to quit playing though because it just wasnt healthy and if I continued I'd end up homeless because I'd never make any money.

It was hard to get motivated to out and get stuff done that I needed to do when I was already perfectly happy playing with my obsession.

I wish I could find an obsession that would make me money. :P

Haha, that's the challenge, I guess.

Growing up, it was hard for me to get through classes sometimes because I would sit and think about my obsessions, and I couldn't wait to get home and focus on them. Mainly I love writing, and so whatever I am introduced to in life, I decide if I would write about it or not. If not, then forget it. :)

It's easy to laugh at the Comic Book Guy, and I guess that that is the intended purpose of his comment, but I feel that he is right. I don't laugh at the Comic Book Guy.
