Would health insurance companies deny you a health insurance plan or just coverage for AS-related problems?

You can due to a legal loophole.

And most of the companies do deny you.

I have a question for the persons on this forum officially diagnosed with AS: what health insurance plan do you have?

I have been diagnosed, but my insurance company doesn't know about it. The only time I saw a doctor for something related to AS was when I got my diagnosis. That doctor did not take insurance.

If you want proper health coverage and don't have money - get out of the US.

In Australia everyone is covered. As an example.

The United States doesn't give a stuff about proper health coverage and it's about time the people rose up and did something about it - starting at the ballot box!

I was diagnosed with AS, but my psychiatrist did not put it into my official history. "Officially," he is seeing me for OCD. He is aware of the problems with insurance companies.
