Hi, everyone! I'm relatively new to Wrong Planet (I've been here for a couple of months, but have read a lot more than I've posted). I'm neurotypical, but my sweet wife of two years has Asperger's. Right now, I'm working on my master's in communication, and my thesis is looking at communication practices in marriages and partnerships between neurotypicals and individuals with Asperger's. Part of the project was inspired by my own desire to communicate better with my wife, but there's also not a lot of research out there on the topic.

I'm currently gathering data through an anonymous open-ended survey, and I'm posting it here to see if anyone would be interested in adding their perspectives to the study. If you have Asperger's and are married to or partnered with a neurotypical (or vice-versa), then please consider adding your voice and experiences. I also would appreciate any feedback that you have to give on the study itself or the survey form, and I want to give a quick shout-out to Alex Plank for reviewing the study and allowing me to post it here.

If you're interested, here's a link to the survey. It should only take 20-30 minutes to fill out, depending on the level of detail provided.

Thanks so much!
