How do you manage to type double-space? I'd like to, it's much easier to read.
We aspies take things as they're said to us. NTs read between the lines. What the secretary told you between the lines was: "The doctor may be able to see you sometimes only once a month, so take that into account and don't complain if that's ever the case. We're covering our asses by telling you this now."
I manually did the double spacing (hit enter).
I thought about what you said, but even an NT might not do the right thing in this situation. They may use the logic that the appointment was available, so they took it.

It is nice you think about other people emotions, but you pay them for crying out... so do not feel guilty.
I am not really that concerned with emotions. I don't want to be inappropriate like so many times I have been in the past.
