What do you tend to do, throw it all away for good, or just park it, waiting for a new inspiration?
I just throw it away for good. When I've had it with something, that's it!
I've recently spent some time on facebook. Created a real good profile and even started a new group. It was really fun, met a lot of my relatives and old friends, even met some old buddies from my time in the army.
Think what really got to me, was the heaps of hugs and kisses I recieved all the time. On last friday I just went in to adjust something on my profile, and just looked around to see what was new. All of a sudden I thought, what is this crap? So I just deleted my profile for good. Just got a sudden urge to get out of there for good.
Anyone else got similar experiences, with hobbies etc..?

Yes I'm pretty much as you describe, and this has happened with Facebook too. I get really into a hobby, activity, idea or subject, absolutely do it to death and then leave it. Sometimes I do leave it on the shelf for a bit and come back to it much later, but more often I've finished with it and I go on to the next thing.

Yeah, you got the idea about my post. It don't have to be facebook, can be any hobby or things one like to do, in general..that suddenly turns totally uninteresting for some reason.
I wish the header of the topic could be more than a short line. Some topix are just not good to explain in a short sentence.

This happens to me all the time and I hate it. But my interests are so intense that they can't help but burn out eventually. I really have to start getting rid of stuff though because I usually keep everything from my previous interests telling myself "I'll come back to it some day", but it ends up sitting there for years. I've amassed a ton of various junk as a result.

At least lately most of my interests are on the computer so my room isn't being flooded. But my hard drive is so I had to do some deleting recently.

Edit: I have also done what you mentioned about facebook. I've suspended my account multiple times and then I come back and it's so different and I hate it so I delete my account again.

I just put it on the shelf. I like collecting but I just haven't added on to any of my collections in a while. I'm also bored of Facebook. It's all about Twitter for the next couple of weeks/months.
I've started to get into music and photography again, something I got sick of last year.
