I realize that it might come up at some point, and I'd like to be able to tell someone what aspergers is as simply as possible, if only the basics. Now I know it is complex, and has many little things that mostly define it, but is it even possible to sum it up? And I don't mean in just a sentence, a paragraph even.

So... this seems like the kind of problem that aspies would be perfect to solve, and I figured it has already been done before. So instead of going through the wikipedia page and finding the best and simplest parts (because if this doesn't work, I probably will  ), I wonder if such an explaination already exists?

I like this explanation as it is not a negative one - but this is just my personal preference. I appreciate that finding the explanation which works best for you is very much a personal individual thing.

Although this is not an especially short explanation, there are a few key sentences which I personally find useful to give a brief description of AS.

But like I said, this is simply my preference and I totally understand that some people may prefer other ways of describing AS.

I just point ppl to the wiki page, if they don't want to make the effort to read that they don't deserve to know imho ;)

NT brains operates one way, Aspie brains operates another, so wires continually get crossed.
