I felt, when I was depressed, like there was a huge block in my head, that could trap a part of me forever in it. I felt cold there; it was dark and hard and cold and heavy. It was between my forehead and right temple. I still sometimes have it and then there's tingling, I get zaps there sometimes and then feel better. I think that may be the meds trying to get to that difficult spot. Sometimes I felt like banging my head to rearrange it inside my head so that it wasn't so much of a threat and a hindrance. Sometimes I still want to bang my head in certain strategic places to rearrange the stuff inside it into a better position, to balance things out or relieve the pressure in certain areas or whatever you call it.

Damn... And I forgot my tinfoil hat at home again... HEhe.

Seriously though, I know EXACTLY what you mean. With me, there's a couple of differences (albeit minor). For me, I get the odd tingling sensation between my forehead and LEFT temple. I don't generally get depressed, so probably not going through it as "bad" as you are, but there's the occasional sensation of something sitting on my forehead. But yeah, definitely feels like as if there's just something out of place in that region of the brain.

Just out of curiosity, but are you right handed or left handed? It might explain the difference in the side of the head...

I'm right-handed, I think. :)

And I feel like it's inside, not like anything is ON my head.

I've had the sensation of pressures and blockages in my brain for a couple of years now, usually behind my forehead and eyes. They'd move and change depending on how I was feeling, and different smart drugs and supplements I was taking to help clear my brain fog would relieve pressure in specific areas consistently, or I'd get the sensation of "activity" or blood flow. Inositol was the most pronounced, and my speech improved dramatically as soon as I felt the change. I've been gluten free for about a month now, and for the first time in years all of the pressure is gone. I don't think I've ever felt a "zap", but I'm not on any meds that would affect my nerves or neurotransmitters.

I got a similar zap at my left temple about an hour after posting that... it as like a needle or a sharp spike of lightening but it didn't hurt... well, it did, but it didn't, and I felt better afterwards. :)
