Anyone out there tend to go with a specific color of clothing for years on end?

For me here are the colors i have worn and the time line...

Dark blue, blue, light blue, anything blue
12-16

Brown and anything brown
17-20

now it seems im changing colors again...

I was curious if it was just me. I never really noticed it till it was pointed out to me.

in my early teens I went through an awful purple phase.....everything had to be purple.

I went through a warm gray phase.....

but aside from an aversion to pastels and yellows....and maybe a tendancy towards red and black, not really..

I've liked forest green and brown since I was about 14 years old. I really shouldn't wear much brown because my eyes and hair are brown and it makes me blend into the background, I think... but sometimes that's exactly how I like it.

Maybe I was supposed to be a dryad.

I often think about buying a lot of plain grey shirts and only wearing grey shirts every day and if one gets stained I get rid of it and replace it with one that looks exactly the same as the others. If only I wouldn't suffer ridicule from my family for desiring to lead an extremely monotonous life. Oh well, less than 2 years 'til college.

That picture of the dryad is pretty.

I remember going through a phase in which I only wore shirts with monkeys on them...

Now I'm kind of in a phase of wearing anything red, in homage to Hellsing's Alucard.

Not now, but back in the day, everything had to be purple or close to the color of purple lol...

My little sister did the same thing in junior high. I don't think it about about Alucard, but some other anime thing. She wore a red headband/bandana all the time.

Although about 1/2 of my clothes are pink (and I have tons of clothes!), I'm happy wearing just about any color, except for the darker ones. They look horrible on my fair complexion!

Yes, I go through color phases. For a long time, it was blues and greens. Then it was oranges and reds. Now I find myself avoiding red and orange, for some reason. Kind of going back towards navy blue, and brown.

Not only the same colours, but also the same styles, e.g., for about the last 5 years I have bought the same style shirts from the same supplier, in either maroon or green, must be long sleeved, soft, pure cotton, easily removable label. I change may be every 10 years (usually because the product is no longer made).

Same here, except for the green, instead I wear orange/yellow.
