I picked a week. And if you stay up for more than 48 hours, believe me, you won't be in a position to argue that it's been less than a week. You'd agree that red and green make purple at that point if I added that it's true because Santa Claus says so.

I'd like to see what he'd post here if he was in that state of mind.

I hope you guys realize that it is dangerous for your health (both physical and mental) to stay awake for that long. Trust me... I've experienced it.

The longest I've ever been up was 40 hours. My mind was racing too fast to sleep and even before I was able to opt to go to sleep, I felt good enough to drive, if I had somewhere to go at the time. I wonder if I was bordering on full blown manic at the time? :?

24 hours is the absolute "wall" I hit in college. It was accompanied by hallucinations; kind of a waking dream state where the room felt wierd.

*giggles* My body clock is so majourly screwed: I regularly stay up past midnight and wake up with my computer on my back! :D

Please say you have a laptop. If it's a PC, that's just bizarre.

*giggles* Fortunately I do! I tend to take it to bed with me so I can be all cozy, then I inevitably roll over onto my stomach in the night and wake up with a nice warm weight on my back! :D

In college I stayed awake for over 24 hours doing random crap like chatting over AIM. Then I took a final - BEFORE going to sleep. I guess it's lucky for me that I'm hypersensitive to caffeine, because one can of Mr. Pibb helped me through it. I aced the exam. Woooooo. 8)

I need to stay up until I can't keep my eyes open at least once a week.
