All it seems to say is that biological testing could result in autism being diagnosed sooner. It looks like they are suggesting brain scans be used.

Yeah, it's probably brain imaging; PET scanning seems to pick up the "abnormalities" in the brains of those with autistic and Asperger's disorder nowadays--it might be becoming more widespread.
