If you vote # 1 or # 2 -- could you explain what about the picture led you to vote that way?

Do you know who this is?

It's a black and white picture of a man staring forward. He kind of resembles what I envision a vampire to be. I assume you want me to find an emotion on his face; I can't tell if he is sad, angry, afraid, bored, vengeful, or stressed, but it looks to be a negative emotion.

No.

not nearly as disturbing as that other face someone posted a bit ago... he appears to be looking over the camer holder's head. At what? I do not know. I don't know what expression it is on him, but he may just be looking at something and thinking about it. He may be thinking " gee, was it 2 loaves of bread, 1 dozen eggs and 1% milk... or was it 1 loaf of bread, 2 dozen eggs and skin?". Who knows...

Nt here. I suppose you will tell me that he is a mass murderer, but to me he looked lost in his own thoughts.

Don't know who he is, but the picture does nothing to me at all. I voted #1.
Maybe you could explain what the meaning of this is?

He looks like a murderer from the early 1900's.

Kinda reminds me of Ian Braidy (moors Murders 1960's) and that is somewhat scary and disturbing.

For this picture, I'd give a 1. If he was looking out from the picture, I'd vote 2.

I agree. He looks like he's in a heavy daydream, a little vacant. Can't tell what he's dreaming about though.

He's holding his head up high. To me that's a very alarming sign of arrogance and a signal that someone may be preparing to be violent.

I voted 2 because his face just doesn't look inviting to me, so it's kind of hard to continue looking at him. Not really scary though. And I don't know who this is.

Two thoughts:

Nondescript, looks like he'll keep to himself in a social setting; that's a good thing.

Friendly to me as his expression is "nothing", "nothing" doesn't confuse me like "something" does (I kinda see myself in his expression, that's why friendly).

I decided to answer before reading the other posts and I believe he's easy to look at (as in 'really easy to look at for a prolonged period until one's bored') because the eyes are not directed at the camera.

It's funny how people make so many assumptions about a person just based on their appearance. I've always been more interested in one's personality rather than their looks.
