Autism Speaks even has support from the music industy. They have released a CD called A Santa Cause: It's a Punk Rock Christmas 2 with bands It Dies Today and Sugarcult providing punk remixes of classic christmas songs. The songs are okay, but i won't be buying a copy.

It only shows how insane an organization as Autism Speaks really is...when they try to sell a Christmas CD months after the Christmas season is over.

I often cut between this site and an NT indie music forum, which has a social section for non-music related stuff. I am not open about having aspergers on that forum. Sad to say a lot of young people into alternative music have some seriously unenlightened views about autism, aspergers, mental illness in general, mental retardation etc etc etc

So I can see why they would think Autism Speaks is a good cause. If you don't know anything about it, it's just a charity, and people want to give money to charity.

:(

There is a limitless supply of celebrities that Autism Speaks can take advantage of because it is popular for them to be seen supporting charities. I only wish they could see the amount of autistic people who are completely against Autism Speaks and what they are doing.

If they don't have "Christmas At Ground Zero" I'm not interested.

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

Autism Speaks will NEVER speak for me

CLASSIC AUTISM

Now that is more like it. I already have a track on offer from Reg Spyder's Punk Band Spagnum Moss called F***n Xmas.
