Call for more information
I dream of a day when NTs learn to type conversationally.
There is an instance--->that I need help with.
Going to the Government Funded organization's webpage that deals WITH THAT INSTANCE that I need help with, and reading that Government's Funded Organization webpage THAT DEALS WITH THE INSTANCE that I need help with, and reading there EXACTLY WHAT they can (or could if I was a perfectly functioning NT) do to help me: and CONTACTING that government funded organization through the email contact provided...
I am told CALL.
Well I can't call, ya twit.--->write the answer to the question.
I hypothesize....."Well I can't WRITE ya ret*d"
So who doesn't help the person needing the help?
The organization who's job it is to.
Call. No. Answer the ferking question about your services.

Don't you just hate that. Or when you send an email to someone, so that you'll have an answer in writing, and they call you. I find that every day in my job. They find it easier to pick up a phone. Even if I've specifically asked for a response in writing so that I can have a record of it. Makes me f'ing crazy.
And now the news websites. They are going to video. How lovely for the functionally illiterate, but I really prefer to input my information from text. Which there is less and less of available, it seems.
And then, when you need to get a complicated question answered by someone at an agency like you mention above, it's "call us" so we can give you personal attention. No, why don't they just it's "call us because it's way too much trouble for us to actually be able write competently enough to respond to you." or "It takes too much time for us to type, we can get rid of you more quickly via voice."
Arrrrrgh!
