I recently purchased a "naked" music box mechanism. I can't stop winding it and listening to it. The musical tines or the "harp" and the "drum" and their interaction fascinate me and I can't stop looking at their interaction. Is there anyone else fascinated by clockwork/music boxes?
Also I'm interested in knowing if anyone else has "X-Ray" vision when it comes to animals and machines... I see the exterior of these eliminated and replaced with a mechanical, clockwork version of almost everything I see in movement. I'm often wrong about the mechanics when I actually open and dissect a machine. I don't dissect with biological specimens unless they're already dead.
Anyhow, does anyone else here see organisms or machines without their skins or have a fascination with clockwork?
