do you ever feel confident more days than others?

i do. sometimes i feel like i can make friends all day long and im a complete sucsess but i never go out and do it, other days its the latter. is this how it is for you? or no, usually i end up in a cycle of thinking i can do great and never do anything that great

I'm all too familiar with that feeling.

maybe i just like remianing constaint. change is a little unearving i suspect thats why i act this way

Definately. There are times that I go to a party and can talk to everyone easily. However, most times I am awkwardly standing or sitting there, not knowing who to talk to or what to say and wishing the whole thing was over but not daring to draw attention to myself by leaving early. The feeling when it goes right is so good though that I go to every party I am invited to (not that many) just in case I have a good time.

yes but normal people act on thier urges to make freinds, be better, faster, stonger, play video games. i on the other hand dont for some reason. maybe im just a boring person

Yes some days I feel really confident and happy other days I am the polar opposite withdrawn and miserable. Some equilibrium would be nice.

I definitely have days where I surprise myself
by feeling and acting confidently.The problem is that 'acting' is literally what I'm doing most
of the time and deep down I still lack
confidence,at least when it comes to social

Yeah sometimes it's like that for me... more confident some days then really panicky on others... sometimes.

For the past few weeks, I've felt very down and pessimistic. Since Wednesday or Thursday, I've been really happy and confident.

I had someone tell me today how highly people think of me. Today I had a hard time believing it, but other days I do. Strange thing about confidence, I rarely know when to expect a visit.

I've reached the point where I can feel confident and happy through willpower alone, even on no sleep. I've struggled through rough times, suicidal periods, depression, anxiety, insomnia, and other difficulties, some of which have plagued me for years. I was at a very low point as a teenager and had to slowly climb my way up from there on my own. I'm finally starting to reap the benefits of the willpower I've worked so hard to acquire. Ironically, some people now stereotype me based on my personality, and assume I must be happy because a good life gets handed to me on a silver platter. It can't be helped. The quote stands true - it's impossible to please everyone.
