Right i felt the need to post this, i am seeking other peoples views with AS here. I left full time work to tackle college. I like computers i want to know more feel if i went to college it will give me that extra knowledge to "fasinate" me do more things with computers. I have had hard time at college felt not getting far with computers. I am going try get course completed and passed, sort of lost interest in computers. Any one had a similar experiance?

Taking BTEC national award for IT had a lot of problems of late

yes, except my grades have been pretty good and now i am getting back into computers.

i think it's important to accept that you can't accomplish everything in computers. i have had to do that. i will probably not singlehandedly write a program that passes the turing test. most likely you will be working on a specific project that someone else will have set for you, not your own personal projects and definitely not research unless you happened to go to a very top rate college. just have fun with computers. the money will follow. if you aren't having fun, find something else to do. but oddly you were enjoying computers before college. it's a dream you had and maybe you don't have to give it up. maybe you just need to accept some intellectual weaknesses and pursue a less rigorous technical program in order to attain this dream.

I know that and bare that in mind. I just feel i need some one to guide me slightly in the correct direction, people originally recognised me during my youth i was good with computers. Seems college cant help further that for me
