Hi Eden3,

The best way to make friends is to be a friend.

If you are thinking that you want (need?) to be the center of a large group of giggling gaggling girls, then you're going about it the wrong way. Seek out people who will allow you to be who you are and expect your friends, in return, to be who they are. You'll find deeper, more meaningful relationships that way.

Post around here for a while and I can assure you that you will find a friend. And most of us may or may not understand you, but from what I've seen, most will accept you for who you are.

I doubt you'll find any enemies here, all of us will understand and accept you.

Hello, I'm not your enemy. I'm an aspie.

I think that it's safe to say that no-one here
is your enemy,I'm not and I know I'm looking
forward to getting to know you better via the
medium of internet :)

I struggle about friends as well,
it's the thing about not doing well with
non-verbal social cues,you might
already have heaps of friends but not
know it because you don't read their
non-verbal friendship cues.

That's what I've found anyway.
Intellectually I believe I have friends,
because the data points to it,but
sometimes I feel lonely because
I don't "feel" like I've got friends.

Maybe I don't really have friends at all,
maybe I've misinterpreted the data,
but I tell myself I do have friends,
and that's how I try to get by.

I think here you'll find plenty of
people who can relate to you.

Hey pleased to meet you Eden 3,
enjoy our planet 8)

Hello!

I'll be a friend. I'm an autistic girl too, who always needs someone who understands me. PM me if you want.

I'm sorry but seriously the best way to make "friends" on forums is to participate in the discussions and get to "know" people. If you come on and make 2 posts begging for friends, (this has to be the 20th thread I've seen like this on here, then you may get some nice replies but do you really want to be friends with random people you've not gotten to know?
