I know this sounds like a very odd/random question, but were you considered to be handsome or cute when you were a kid? The reason I am asking this is that autistic children are often considered to be especially attractive looking. Researchers have speculated that this may be because our heads were larger than average among other things.
I remember I got a lot of comments like that when my mom would take me on errands with her. That's probably normal with all kids, though.
Yes, I was your typical Shirley Temple child with blue eyes and blond curly hair, and an enormous head (particularly my forehead). And I also have the youthfulness that I didn't realize was an Asperger's trait. I'm 22 and often pass for 16.
Some people said so until like middle school then no. Personally I dont think grownups ever think a child is ugly unless hes missing all his teeth or 100 pounds overweight (and even then its iffy.)

Grownups said that I was cute-looking but the kids always called me ugly and made fun of my looks.This happened until I was 13 when some people started to get jealous of my looks.
