I have never thought of myself as having ADD, but my neuropsychologist says it's possible. She's positive that I have Asperger's Syndrome, but she says there could be a comorbid. I brought up Executive Dysfunction because it seemed as though it fit me well, but she said that could accompany ADD. I have very good concentration, and always have...but I tend to "wring my fingers" and get distracted by noises. I told her the noises I am distracted by are very loud to me. I have sensory problems, and it's hard to filter these things.
Oh, well...I guess I'll find out April 30th.
Ciao

It is possible. Judging only from what you say, it could just be AS since there is so much crossover, especially if your inattention is due to sensory disintegration.

Okay, paid my bill and I'm back online... also spent a few minutes reading two blogs, visiting three websites, working on that homework I forgot was due today although it reminded me of this game I forgot I wanted to download and try out which turned out to be a wicked game at that.. but then half way through the fourth level I remembered I was going to take your money and send you a worthless piece of paper... for something...

Anyway, don't worry if you have ADD/HD... I do... IT'S GREAT! I have lots of fun with it!

Thanks for the laugh, wsmac. I'd ask for a certificate of my very own, but I'm a little busy now looking for - um, what was it? I'll know it when I see it, definitely. ;)

I had the same symptoms you described and was misdiagnosed with ADD. The meds made me more hyperactive and they kept increasing the dose. I only got diagnosed with AS 2 years ago so go figure.

It's LOADS of fun, now that we have Wikipedia. When I was growing up I had to use the dictionary.
