Does anyone else dislike the avatars with flashing lights/moving images? They seem to overload my senses a bit, especially since they are in my peripheral vision, which is much more easily overloaded. It's OK if I look right at them most of the time, but to be reading a post and see something blinking or moving out of the corner of my eye...

I don't like them a bit. The large ones are a little startling as well, but I don't like the flashing ones, as they're hard on my eyes and distracting to my peripheral. But hey, I can't control other people. :hmph:

I generally don't mind moving avatars/icons (unless it's a series of images that cnange too fast), but flashing/flickering lights do bother me.

Those things are THE WORST!

When I read the New York Times online I have to set each article to Print, which gets rid of all of the junk and leaves nice, readable text with NO MOTION :D
