We all reply to threads but some people are great thread starters.... who is your favourite thread starter? The challenge is set...

I fear judging others because I fear I will be judged. Which is why I can't answer any of the "who is your favorite X" threads.

IMO, SpaceCase has been the best thread starter by far lately. Her threads range from very serious and thought provoking to light-hearthed and humorous. :) I spend alot of time on RobertN's threads lately too for the political debate (which I'm hoping can remain mature and civilized). PhoenixKitten and hale_bopp would be next on my list.

I never take notice of who starts threads, but I know that I'm a terrible thread starter. Well, maybe not that bad, but no better than average.

what actually amounts to a good thread? anything that is a page two'er and above?

Perhaps this is a good scale to go by....

1 page thread... a new starter or a dead duck.
2-3 pages.... Has legs but only walks
4-5 pages.... This one has potential
6-10 pages.... a positively charming thread.
11+ crack open the champers... This threads a winner!

If memory isn't serving me poorly, I don't believe I've had any 11+'s.

Buuuuuuut... new goal in life!
