I've written a brief survey focusing on seizures in the autism spectrum. For anyone who is autistic (diagnosed, self-diagnosed, or suspected), and who has epilepsy, please take part. It's just 9 questions.

As I mentioned in my comments, you seizure types are very outdated, you ought to consider both allowing people to choose multiple types, and listing the actual current names for the types of seizures.

Because there are:

• Simple-partial
• Complex-partial
• Absence
• Myoclonic
• Clonic
• Tonic
• Tonic-clonic
• Atonic

Your list left me zero choices except to click "other" and list which ones I have had, despite being able to answer yes to two of them.

Sorry, brain fart. You're right, I should've made that a multiple choice selection.

I chose to use those terms in particular though because I've noticed from past threads on epilepsy that those are the terms more often used. I wanted to use terms that people would be familiar with, since I've noticed, accurate or not, if a respondent doesn't know what I'm talking about, they won't answer.

I appreciate the suggestions, but for the terms, I'd still probably stick with the ones I gave so as not to risk the above. However, since I knew the choice selection I gave was incredibly narrow, I included Other with a text option so people could still answer accurately.

I should say though, anbuend, I'll be analyzing these in a different program. I've just used SurveyMonkey to collect them. So when the final analysis is done, the question about epilepsy types will be categorized according to the full number of epilepsy types given by respondents. I will be breaking it up more than just Grand Mal, Petite Mal, TLE, or Other.
