Make a list of things you think you need.

Start with the things that you absolutely have to have (are you ok with housing? food? medical support?). You need those first off.

Then look at the things you can use. Do you want to get training for a job? Do you need help getting into a program, getting to the classes, getting placed in a job after?

Then look at the things you'd like to have. Do you need help with a social life - are you lonely and confined at home? Do you need help with social skills? Can they help you with that? That sort of thing.

What you can ask for is going to depend a lot on what the case manager can do for you. There may be programs that can help you with all or some of the above things. Or there may not be (it depends on where you live). Until your case manager talks to you, there's no way to really know what they can do, so I'd ask for anything I could think of and hope for the best if it were me.

You might want to show your case manager your list and then see what they say they can do to help.

Good luck!
