1...2...3...4...5...UUUUUGGGHHH!! !! Come on clock! Can't you go any faster? Damnit! I'm soooooo bored!

Do you ever feel that time goes by way too slowly, every single day? Is this a problem with aspergers?

For me, time is doubled. So a 3 hour class is really 6 hours. An 8 hour shift at work is really 16 hours. The days, weeks, and months go by even slower. I don't know how to make time go by any faster!

Am I just fast compared to time? For some people, the days go by in the blink of an eye. I find myself watching the clock and counting the seconds to make sure they count themselves properly. Time simply does not "fly" even if I'm having fun.

Are there any medications that help with this problem, and "speed time up"? Uppers, downers, all-around-ers?

Any advice/suggestions?

Enjoy it, you've almost achieved immorality. OOPS! I meant Immortality.

Urgh, I know what you mean. On some days it seems the clock's stopped. On others it seems like whole hours have been swallowed.

lol! You're right, though. I have achieved immorality because I end up doing immoral things to make the time pass.

And yes, I sometimes wonder if I am immortal. I've been living on this earth for so long, that I couldn't possibly believe that I still have more time left. Apparently, at age 20, I have the rest of my life ahead of me. But it just doesn't feel that way.

Whole hours are never swallowed. The thing the swallows other peoples' hours must get sick because it vomits them back onto my time. I have 48 hour days. Time was endless when I was a child. My driver's license says that I'm 20 (I was born in 1987), but I'm really 40 years old.

I was watching a clock in class one day and it was about 5 minutes to the bell, when I swear upon all that is holy on this planet I actually saw it go backward 4 minutes.

Time probably goes by so slowly because you're bored and waiting for the time to pass. When I'm bored, five minutes seems like a lifetime. But when I'm engaged with something like my guitar or a video game, the hours pass in a flash.

This is pretty normal, actually.

If I'm doing something I'm really not comfortable with time goes REALLY slow.
If I'm at home alone, enjoying the solitude it usually goes way too fast.

I don't doubt that people with AS could experience great time dilation than NTs on a more regular basis, but I see so many posts on here where people are complaining about things such as this that are perfectly normal for all humans.
