One, a high functioning kid on my campus. Well, I was told he had AS by a 3rd party, but he didn't know that I knew. Nor did he know that I had AS. Heh. He had no trouble with his social life, but didn't know when to stop his antics, and eventually got kicked out of the dorms.

I'd like to meet more people with AS.

Approximately 15, not all diagnosed.

Two, possibly three (that I know of!) - one diagnosed, two not.

A woman I know, who I don't see very often anymore, has a son with AS who is a few years younger than me; I've never really interacted with him.
When I started learning about AS I started wondering if my best friend from when I was thirteen had it as well; then she started learning about AS, and started suspecting the same thing.
And I knew a kid in elementary school, who I felt a strange kinship with without knowing why, who was socially awkward, brilliant, always picked on, and obsessed with the Revolutionary War. Not exactly exhaustive diagnostic criteria  , but I wouldn't be at all surprised if he turned out to have AS.

Possibly many that I didn't know about, but around 15 - 20 in total at various times that claimed to either be on the spectrum or claimed to have been professionally diagnosed. Whether all of those people in reality actually had Aspergers or not I do not know, hence, I do not know the actual number.

I definitely think my cousin has Aspergers if not a form of autism and then a friend of the family although he's in denial about it. He just got diagnosed and I guess he can't handle it. He really does fit the spectrum though. I wish he didn't look at aspergers as something bad at all.

I know I get mad about my quirks but I think this site has helped me accept myself. I don't think he'll ever get on a site such as this. Wish he did, I think he'd have another outlook.

I've made some very close friends however on this site. I don't know if that would count since I haven't gotten to meet them in the real world. Maybe, maybe not someday.

I met two male aspies in person, one on a bus and one at the provincial autism centre in my province, one in his early 20's and the other in his late 30's, both were nice, don't really get to see them though.

I think I've met about 3 dozen that I know of so far, which isn't too bad for one year's worth of looking. :chin:

I've met three, two of them are on WP (Raylynn and LiendaBalla).

The other one was my second girlfriend, she and I were together from 2002-2006. We're still very good friends, though.

I think this boy in my elementary school had it.

I knew another aspie when I was 15 but he also had ODD so he was a bully and he abused his mother and other people.

I met this other aspie when I was 17 but we never made a very good friendship. When I tried to get back in contact with her, they must have moved because their number was out of service and when I called her mobile number, it was someone else. She must have switched numbers too. I don't think she liked me that much but I dunno.

I was thinking my first ex had it because he showed signs and my last ex has it but he was real annoying. His narrow mindness and he cursed too much just like my other ex.

I met a bunch of them at the aspie barbecue I went to last August.
