Just how many symptoms do you have to have to be considered dyspraxic?
I think I could well be, I googled for the symptoms and alot of them I have but alot I don't.
Are there any that all dyspraxic people have?

Uncoordination topic

Some specialists think dyspraxia is a descriptive term. I was Dx'ed because I had proof from jobs and mental health officials that I was uncoordinated and could not multitask. It is a difficult Dx. There is no smoking neuron that is an indicator. It is detected by observation and the symptoms must interfere with job and life skills. I hear in the UK it is much easier to get a diagnosis. In my case I have poor balance, have trouble with multitasking, eye hand co-ordination, and I cannot drive a car because I cannot coordinate my body with a machine. (I guess I could not be assimilated by the Borg Continuum. )

I suspect I have dyspraxia, but it's not severe enough to warrant a diagnosis - it took two years to get a diagnosis for AS so I'd prefer not to go through all that again.

Anyway, I'm clumsy, uncoordinated, bad at fine motor movements, terrible at sports and my spatial awareness and depth perception are about as good as that of a dead frog. I also find driving difficult, especially doing manoeuvres, which requires spatial awareness par excellence. If I manage to pass my driving test, I probably won't bother getting a diagnosis for dyspraxia - if I don't, I might.

I'm a major klutz. One thing that is a big problem for me is using both hands when doing a tasks needing fine eye-hand coordination. It constantly causes me to be accused of being lazy. :x

Thankyou for your replies. On the form I have to fill in, I guess I will say that I suspect dyspraxia.

I passed my driving test on the first try, but all my friends tell me I'm a terrible driver =/
