Can someone help me please?

I don't understand what this question means.

"I don't consciously work out the rules of social situations."

So if you're having to work them out consciously, it's because they're not coming naturally to you, is that what it means?

Thanks alot.

It means "I don't think effortfully about social rules and try to figure them out." Context would help a lot here, but the gist of it means that they don't put thoughtful effort into decoding social rules.

Yes, it's that neurotypical Theory of Mind thingy....I'm exempt. So are you. Thank God (minus the religious aspect).

Thanks for the replies. Yeah, that's what I thought but I wasn't sure enough of the meaning to answer without checking.
I'm glad that I thought of asking here instead of getting myself all stressed out about it.
