Is it possible? I mean, i've tried citalopram. They helped to begin with, but then I just felt like things went back to how they were, even though I was on 40mg. So now i'm on paroxetine, thats been for a few months now. I'm still having problems with anxiety at sport. Golf is everything to me, so when I play a competition I want to do well. I should have won on sunday, and I did well enough to finish 5th out of like 40 people. But, I made some bad mistakes, aminly cause I felt uncomfortable on every shot, then I was like 4 shots from winning, and knowing I should have won, made me depressed. I feel under so much pressure with it. I care too much, so I need something to make me not give a damn, then hopefully things will even out. Oh yeah I got put on an anti-psychotic last month, that hasn't done enough, and I hate the side affects that make me so tired, and it makes me snack a lot! I have an appointment tommorrow, hopefully I can finally find the right formula.

Finding the right meds is always a game of hit and miss...so be prepared to try many meds before you find the right one. Meds
will increase your appetite for food which is why people tend to gain weight with anti-psychotics. They can also, make you very
tired and lethargic.

Are you really good at golf? My cousin is majoring in Business Administration at his college as he wanted to be a professional
golfer like his best friend's dad, Wayne Levi who plays with the pros in many tournaments. My cousin decided to major in Business Administration and own a club someday since becoming a pro, like Tiger Woods, is quite difficult these days. His best friend, however, is attending a college in Florida as he has a better chance of making it as a pro like his dad.

Best of luck to you!

Thanks, and thats pretty cool. I know if I didn't feel the way I did, I could get to a professional standard one day.

I don't know why so many people think drugs are the answer to life's problems. Don't do well at something? Take drugs to increase performance, never mind that its not actually you doing something, but the drug. How can you feel good about yourself like that? If you want something to make yourself not give a damn, maybe you should try some way to take your mind off lust for result. And there are plenty of non medication ways of doing that, just think of something else.

Its not like that. Plus you really don't know what I have to go through. The demons in my head are tough to beat. It would still be me playing, how can I play if I feel so anxious, I can barely move the club? I just dn't know what to do, and I shouldn't have to put up feeling like this. I'm not sure if I can get cognotive therapy either :?

There is always the banishing ritual of the pentagram, although I find for myself that the star ruby 4x a day got rid of a lot of stray thoughts related to my dark night of the soul. See, if demons are bothering you, then you need to banish them using the appropriate methods – a banishing ritual, not taking a bunch of medication.

Most people do encounter performance anxiety in their lives. It's a natural part of being human. Don't take meds for something that is normal. You think you were the only one on the course who was nervous and thought they could have done better because you were in front of a crowd and had pressure on you?

there was no crowd, and I can assure you nobody else has to deal with what I have to deal with.

And how do I banish the demons?
