How many of you have friends your age that you socialize outside of work/church/ anything weekly?

I have 8 really close friends that I regularly socialize with. I've known them all known since childhood and we are all the same age and grew up together. Outside of them I wouldn't even consider anyone else a true "friend", they are just acquaintances or characters in my life.

Hmm. Finding that 3 people I've known for a while are really good people in general. They're all aspie in some form or another, two of them are really quiet, the third talks incessantly, and I'm in between (depending on the occasion). So it works out extremely well.

I have one small group of friends where every Friday we get together and play videogames and stuff.

A best friend I hang out with once in a while (we can only tolerate small doses of each other)...I'm friends with a lot of his friends, but I don't visit or chat with them very often on my own =/ Probably doesn't help that most of them have moved to other cities...also really doesn't help that gas is so expensive lately.

I've gone through quite a few online friends...most of them have lost touch for whatever reasons, but there's a few I've been friends with for at least ten years. Wouldn't mind going on a road trip some day and visiting a few of them, even though I know my shyness would make it a little awkward

I have one close online friend, but they're overseas, and 4 friends who I see somewhat regularly outside of work (once every 2 weeks or so), but only one of those is really a good friend.

I have 4 close friends that are all Union brothers, two I visit with once a week or so to either socialize or go to the range. All of us talk a couple times a week on the phone. Two of these I've known longer. And they like to go to the range.

That is easy - none.

I used to have a couple when I was younger (20-30s). Now I find I do not need more than acquaintances.

I have my fiance, and my dad....that's pretty much it. I do have a couple girlfriends, but two of them live in Florida (one 1083 miles away and one 1346 miles away), another I talk to every coupe months and see a few times a year. when she worked with me I did socialize with her often.....we went out to lunch, and cooked dinner for each other.....sometimes she'd throw little dinner parties. She lived close to our job, so it was easy.....but now that she moved 90 minutes away, it's hard to make time to see her....I'm in her wedding at the end of the month so I will be seeing a lot of her.....the bachelorette party is tomorrow......

I really don't mind only socializing with my fiance (and once in a while his friends). He's pretty entertaining....when he's not making too much noise. He can make me laugh, and that is usually a really hard thing to make me do........

I have a few friends near my age (I'm in my late 20s), but none of them live near here. One is in Wyoming and another in New York City. I've got one friend here and she's 50, and the reason I have one here is I moved to be near her. Most of my friends, I meet first online, and then get to know them better in person, and mostly through the autistic or disability communities. So they're all over the place.

I tag along with my husband, they are really all his friends (and wives/girlfriends) that I associate with, but still have aquaintances that I keep up with online, through facebook/myspace. I would say I really have ONE best friend, but we mostly talk via facebook/myspace and get together every month or so.

And of course, there is my best, best friend in the world, my hubby :)

Excluding my husband, I don't have any friends that I go out, and do things with. :(

Honestly, I have no idea. Since I live in a college dorm, I usually just end up hanging out with a bunch of different groups of people, a lot of loose friendships and stuff. I'd say I have about five or six good friends here, maybe like two best friends.

At home, it's about the same number of people, and I'll pretty much just see them on the weekends at various times.

I have dozens of friends like that. We get together on weekends when no one is busy, in big groups. I'm part of a bunch of different groups (school, camp, community service, etc.) so I always have someone to hang out with.

lol. I have a hard time relating to people in my age group. I do a little but it is hard to engage in convos.
I mostly have had older friends. or younger.
