can we make a forum for aspie teens? it would center a lot of the issues together, cuz dealing w/ being a teenager can be nearly impossible and i think it would be really cool for all of us to come together. who's with me?

I agree. My teenage years sucked (fill in the body part of your choice). So having a teen forum would help a lot. It can go in the Age-related Discussions category.

I agree. The perspective I get from the Romantic forum is varied and not looked at from the views of "people who know how terrible the current generation of teens are and have to be a part of it" very often. Then again, it's not like I ever get specific enough for it to matter. But in some cases, a more teenage perspective would help. Also be nice for things that kind of do ,but don't, fit in the Mature topics thread.

There's already the "Kid's Crater" Forum. Noone uses it. Why don't you use that for your Teen Forum?

The reason no one uses the 'Kid's Crater' forum, is that there aren't many kids on WP. There are quite a lot of teenagers here. I don't think teenagers should use the 'Kid's Crater' forum for a 'Teen Forum'. Issues that pertain to teenagers may not be appropriate for children. The children who are members of WP (or those who are considering joining) who do use the 'Kid's Crater' forum shouldn't feel excluded.

I agree with what has been said. Even through teens can technically go wherever they want on the forums (except for sometimes the mature forum, which is an entirely different topic altogether), there are a lot of problems that are fairly age-specific to teenagers and very young adults, like under 22 years old. I think it would be a good idea to consider adding a teen forum in the age appropriate section.

Thanks. Hopefully they will make the right decision as to what to do with our suggestion and everything will work out.

I agree. It would be a nice thing to have a place to discuss the topics wihtout having to go to a NT forum to discuss teenage topics and not be able to talk about aspie isues.
