I have rather severe sensory integration disorder... and I am finally going crazy from the wrinkled pillow cases and odd lumpyness of my pillows. How do i fix this. I know get new pillows for the lumpyness. But how do i fix the wrinkles issue on the cases. The hospital has pillow cases that never wrinkle up somehow, i think they are zip on cases on a latex pillow.

Do you have this problem and what have you done to fix it?

eugh. that makes the lumps stand out even more... i gotta have some sort of pillow case anyway due to infection control issues, the pillows themselves would then need to be washed and they are very hard if not impossible to wash in a machine...

I like wrapping pillows around my head and then holding in there with the weight of my arm, very soothing and good for migraine headaches. If you buy expensive types you may find the fabric is alot more like hospital ones.

Have you tried feather pillows, they are hard which I like as I have always hated soft thin synthetic pillows! I also constantly get my pillows all out of shape, and the pillow cases come off!

As a child and teenager I used to lose my pillows and would wake up trying to find them!

My father had a similar problem. What he did was to buy a piece of foam rubber and cut it to fit exactly into the pillow case. It's not as soft as a feather pillow, but apparently he was okay with that.

Use diaper pins? Pull on the pillow cases to make them tight and pin them together on the side. I dunno if it would work, I never tried it.

Would the zippered pillow covers (that people usually use under the pillow case but over the pillow) work? I think they're usually called "pillow protectors."

indeed it would like the thingy they put on the hospital pillows... would work...

i should look at "hospital pollow cases" most of the time they zip on to prevent people from easily slipping them off and stealing them i guess...
