Trouble remembering names. First names not so bad (men better than women for some odd reason) but last names? Forget about it!

Always recognized people more from posture, body shape/size and movement than from facial features. Would actually get anxious about meeting new people thinking that I would not recognize them when I saw them again.

Another thing I do is link people to the vehicles they drive. I see them in the vehicle once and I can remember. When I see it again - I think - thats so-and-so.

I make up my own names for things. Not alot, but often enough. People think it is funny. I also like to say certain words in my own way or in a different accent such as garage or schedule. I have even been asked before if I had an acceet or if I was from the East coast.

Is this a question in some way or did you just want to tell everyone about yourself?

I personally do not think it's that important to learn second names really, unless you know another person with the same first name. That's interesting how you link cars with people - that would REALLY confuse me.

I recognize objects and faces extremely well, but I often have problems remember the names of people and things.
