my sleep schedule is crazy.

I have been up since 5:30a.m. yesterday...have been on depressive loop all day...don't know when i will be able to go to sleep...I went to bed tonight and woke up at midnight...when I crept over to the computer, the clock said 12:30a.m....for a second I thought 12:30 p.m....oh good, I thought....I finally got a decent night's rest.....no..i had slept for an hour and a half..

sleeping pills.
herbal ones...
i take calms forte
a supplement called "nerve factors"
sometimes Chamomile....

Reading also often puts me out like a light.

Half the week I work over nights and the other I am awake during the day and go to bed around 3-4am....the day in the middle I sleep whenever. It's weird but mostly works.

I think it has gotten better since I got older(43) but I also take effexor and lately Melatonin...that helps a bit to. So does keeping my life simple, (less stressful) as possible.

Sorry about having to wake up in a few hours...I hate having to function when I am tired(I skipped a lot of my basic college classes because of it).

Today I did not go to class; I went home to sleep instead; for I've been sleeping less than 4 hours on average a day since Sunday.
I managed to fall asleep around 21:00. . . woke up at 2:00 and that's it, here I am. :(

I have been averaging 6 hrs a night - usually waking at 3 for about 3 years now. And so I drag my sorry ass around all day.
Naps help but I can not always get any. I wish I could do a solid nights sleep or 'sleep in' on the weekends. "Lord, I'm so tired"

I wish it was that easy for me. Falling asleep always takes a long time for me. When I am laying in bed my mind always keeps on going preventing me from falling asleep. I never can shut it off; it sucks sometimes.

I cycle between sleeping tablets, 5-htp, phenibut and just being really tired.

Meditation during the day helps a little.

Melatonin is not legally available in Australia.
