I was diagnosed with ADD (attention deficit without the hyperactivity) when I was 21. I was prescribed meds for it that I took for a while but eventually gave up after I quit all narcotic substances altogether at the age of 25. Stimulants help me focus, which is probably why I'm having a hard time quitting smoking. When I don't smoke for a while, it's very hard for me to focus on anything for a prolonged period of time. I've been substituting mass amounts of coffee instead, and it basically gets me through the day.

no no I am NT honest

This is what I posted in another group earlier today when i wasn't feeling that great:
If something doesn't interest me I find it hard to complete, I can be very disorganised at times, if I didn't put appointments straight into my phone I would forget them, I am forgetful in quite a few ways, I can get fidgity if I have to wait and don't like waiting at all sometimes. I feel I have to really push myself at times and will very often put things off. I can get a bit uptight if something doesn't go my way, a bit of a do/say first think later kinda person.
Also I find it hard to stay still and can forget the simpliest of things like checking a pot on the stove. Even when I am outside having a smoke I still have to be doing something, walking around or playing on my phone. I have been told I don't listen (I do listen tho) and zone out very easily, probably explains why I can handle Damo pretty well most of the time

If you have any conditions like ADD or ADHD, NVLD, a mental illness, etc. you are no NT.

I used to think an NT was people without the autism spectrum but it means normal people, people without any mental illnesses or neurological conditions.

I have learned people with ADD/HD, NVLD, learning disabilities, mental retardation, schizophrenia, Bipolar, manic depression, etc. aren't considered NTs.
