When I read stuff, a voice pops into my head (with appropriate accent) that "reads" the text to me.

For instance, take a look at the MEME thread. "RED SAUCE WITH MY PA-STA." Now, I've seen the movie, and I know the dude's accent. So I literally "hear" the guy saying that.

Or, for instance, take:
I listen to music. Then I take the headphones off, but I can still hear the tune in my head.

I don't know if this is a good thing or not, or what's going on, but perhaps someone else gets the same thing?

I think most people do, but I'm not really sure. For me it's true, but I never really thought much of it since it seems pretty natural. I'll actually be watching and hearing a vivid movie in my head while reading. Movies, pictures and sounds go through my head all day. It seems like a normal thing to me.

I do the same thing. When I would tell my mum and sis, my mum would see the pictures and hear the voices, but my sister wouldn't. She thought we were nuts.

I can carry a tune in my head on demand. I like to space out and listen to my mental music while on the train and such. However when I read I usually get a mental picture of what I read in my head accompanied by my mental voice at times. I've also noticed when listening to music I tend to visualize it as well.

I do that too. Don't worry. If it's not normal, then I've been wrong my whole life.

Wow, that happens to me too. Not only that, but most of the time, I have music playing in my head; it is either something that I've heard, or something I'm writing. As a matter of fact...I use that as a distraction in crowded places. I apologize if this makes me sound like I'm crazy. I don't hear actual voices...just music.

I get songs stuck in my head, usualy the last one I hear too. When I start to read, expecialy a novel, I tend tend to get this voice, kind of like a particular part of my personality, and tends to maybe change depending on how I am feeling.

IDK if I'd go that far, but when I read books like William Shatner's "Star Trek Memories", and "Star Trek Movie Memories", it was like I'd hear his voice while I was reading. On the other hand, that may be nothing more than being a long-time Trek Fan.

I think most people, including NTs will at least occasionally get a song stuck in their head.

I get that a lot with music or movies in my head. Or things I have seen in my past.

I think we all do- even NT's.
