Oh, I finally got up the nerve to get nformation about the support group here, and not only was the office very difficult to find (even after asking several people), but it was closed.
The office hours state on the reulary updated sute that the office closes today at 2:30.
It was well before 2:30.
It kinda annoyed me, because if they say they are going to be open, they should be open. What if someone had turned up with a really bad problem.
I don't really know if I want to bother going back. I might ring them up next week and tell them what I think.
I know what your mean, I'm from Bendigo which is a small place (around 90,000) and there are no support groups for people with Aspergers/High Functioning Autism in the whole region which has 130,000 people. I'm trying to establish one with a local Department of Human Services Officer, but I dobut it will be established.
