I know that google's algorithem for displaying ads is a bit flawed, but can anyone explain this...

It's in a bit of a weird place, too. I mean as Graphich designer I wouldn't have put it there.. It seperates half the user functions from the rest.

I think it has something to do with the fact that the forums mention social butterflies and social moths (which is really a joke but google must have no sense of humor......

this still gives no explanation for "Indian Meal Moth" WTF is Indian meal moth???

The google ads in that spot are very intrusive, and I'd never click something like that anyways.

I don't have money; I don't have a lot of material wants to fulfill even if I had loads of money. Ergo, I don't click on ads.

That really is the most annoying spot for an ad, especially that color! 8O Get rid of them, AHH!! !

Are you offering to replace the revenue stream from the click-throughs then? Something has to pay for the bandwidth.
