hello all.

please could everyone help out by keeping the site "tidy", as it were. there are three main problems:

1. looooooooooooooong words in posts, which messes up the format of the page, and makes it difficult for members to read posts. please keep words/repeated letters etc. short. if you see you've done this by mistake (it happens), please edit your post to put it right.

2. huge avatars also have the same effect. please check that yours is within the limits in your profile page.

3.

if you want to quote, please only quote the pertinent bits.


if you have any problems doing this, please ask, or PM one of the mods, and we'll help out.

Also, due to outside commitments any of the admins/moderators may have at any time, we may not necessarily have the time to go through all the post with the dilligence that one would expect.

Thus, if a member feels we're not addressing an issue that needs attention, please do not hesitate to PM any one of us.

I always only leave in the post I am quoting, anyway.

But

I's annoying having to constantly delete quotes out. If theres such a fuss about doing it, it should be the designers responsibility to code it so it only actually quotes the post YOU quote.

I don't think having quotes within quotes is such a big deal, you can just skim past that to the actual post.

But long words messing up the page format really aggravates me!!

I don't know if it is necessary to overload on the sarcasm, either, when someone has started a very relevant thread.

You have a point there... I'm sorry, I just couldn't resist. I am hoping that Vivi knows me well enough to realise that I don't make random long annoying posts, and that I was just being silly.
